My wife and I hired Sofo Kitchens to install new cabinets for our kitchen and bathroom. Working with Sofo Kitchen was very stress free. Having renovated all of our house we expected the kitchen to be the most difficult of all. But Radu came in and surpassed all of our expectations. He listened to our requests, and came up with a design that not only looks good but it is extremely efficient. My wife is a qualified chef so for us it was very important to have a kitchen that not only looks nice, but it is also functional. He is very professional, detail oriented and above all he listens. He was able to come up with design features that my wife and I were hardly able to conceptualize. Once we've approved his design it took only a couple of weeks before the cabinets were installed in our house. His installer did an amazing job. He was able to come up with some intricate detailing especially when it came to the fillers between the cabinets and the existing walls/ceilings. Above all he finished the whole installation in a day, and left the place tidy and clean. We would definitely recommend Sofo to future clients. He is one of the best contractors that we've come across. Lastly for everyone looking to hire Sofo keep in mind Radu has a network of other contractors that could assist with your renovation. Our contractor hired Sofo to do the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. Radu was great to work with; he is flexible but has opinions when asked. The cabinets look fantastic - I love them. We added a pantry off our (tiny) kitchen and he had thoughts around the best way to install it (into a tiny triangular corner) that make it work so well now (that pantry is maybe my favourite thing in our entire apartment).
We also had a problem with the medicine cabinets - I had ordered them to maximize storage but after install I HATED them. They were just too big and clunky. Radu replaced them with no additional charge and his demeanor was so friendly through it all. I like the new ones much better - they're lovely. I would recommend Sofo to anyone.

Radu and his team at the shop made some beautiful built-ins for my living room and bathroom. We worked together on the design, Radu paid attention to my specific needs and also made great suggestions. I was also really pleased with the teams professionalism and how they came prepared with everything they needed (drop cloths, vacuum, etc.) to protect the condo while the work was being done and to clean up afterward. No additional work left for me at the end

We hired sofo for custom wall units in our basement as well as remodelling some shelving in our kitchen units. they were fantastic to deal with in all respects.
Radu was amazing to deal with and very open and willing to discuss designs and very receptive to answering multiple questions which we had. We had never had custom built in cabinetry made before and his team alleviated all our concerns and provided us with the confidence that they could execute on the plans especially around accommodating visual and audio wiring within the unit. Every other company made it my problem to figure out. The sofo team just dealt with it and it's great, clean and looks great.
The team they used in our home were so professional and very respectful. They delivered the units the day before and then the installation team arrived on time and worked diligently to install the cabinetry. They were also very friendly and personable. The end result looks so great and completely transformed the room.
We would recommend Radu and his team at sofo kitchens every time without question and anyone who doesn't use sofo really misses out on the pleasurable experience that it is, not least to mention the end result which is quite simply fantastic.

Unlike other trades, Radu stood out, in an extraordinary way, when it came to quality and customer service while being price competitive. Radu was patient, kind and easy to deal with from start, finish and post completion follow-up. From planning, construction through to implementation Radu knows his trade like a science and an art - an example, it took Radu several months to locate vertical door handles (for inbuilt fridge cabinetry) that matched the horizontal door handles we selected for the remaining kitchen cabinetry. He persisted, without issue nor complaint, to search and finally source the identical equivalent from a boutique website. We HIGHLY recommend him, WITHOUT reservation!

Radu of Sofo has done all the millwork for our new house (kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, dressing room and office), and has also built a beautiful credenza for our dining room. We still have some outstanding projects which we will definitely give to Sofo when we come round to doing them. Radu came to us via our interior designer and we have been really happy with his product and service. He is professional, his work is detailed, and he is always friendly and respectful. He is a craftsmen who gives a price and sticks to it (unless there are changes of course) and will come back again and again to make sure everything is as it should be.

I recently renovated my home and Sofo Kitchens designed and fabricated the cabinetry for our kitchen and bathrooms. Radu came to us through our contractor, Olmani Developments. My husband and I did not really have any ideas as to how to transform our very small 30 year old kitchen except that we wanted to make it more efficient. We told Radu our vague ideas of what we thought we would like and Radu, in his very unassuming and patient style, offered his ideas as to what would be practical and most efficient use of the space.
Our bathrooms are also small and we were not changing the space like we were in the kitchen but Radu managed to provide us with cabinets that gave us three drawers instead of the one we had before in the main bathroom and even gave us an angled cupboard where it was closed in and wasted space before.
Radu helped us with the style of cabinets to the colour choice. We now have a beautiful, open concept kitchen with almost twice as much cabinet and drawer space as before. The cabinetry is made in Canada. We opted for the plywood construction and soft close drawers (worth the extra money). Installation was excellent as was follow up. We needed a few adjustments of cabinet drawers and Radu was here personally to adjust.
All in all, my husband and I would highly recommend Sofo Kitchens. We love our new kitchen and bathrooms.
