Foire de Paris is France's largest Fairground and the 7th largest European exhibition place in terms of area and 1 st in terms of activity.

Following the great universal exhibition of 1900, the Chamber ofCommerce and Industry of Paris
and a number of professional organisations, admiring the success of the fair in Leipzig , in 1903 decided to create the Paris Exhibition Committee which was to organise the first real Paris Fair. It opened its doors17 March 1904 at the Carreau du Temple. In 1921, In light of its growing success, the Paris Exhibition Committee decided to move the exhibition to Porte de Versailles where it remains to this date.
