On Day one we visited the Häffele Showroom in downtown Chicago for a series of seminars and a look at the latest innovations, followed by a visit to the Subzero Showroom .
Chef Craig demonstrated some of the most high end cooking appliances by Subzero and Wolf.
We had Chicago style pizza,pulled pork sandwiches and Chicago style hot dogs .
After that hearty lunch we had a few hours to "digest" in the famous Chicago Market Square - a haven for designers!
At about 5 PM we made our way to the nuHaus Showroom (also in downtown Chicago) located at 120 W. Hubbard St., in the heart of the River North design district. The 5,000-square foot showroom and design studio is poised to be Chicago’s preeminent kitchen and fine cabinetry resource to the design industry and end-user alike.nuHaus is nationally renowned for their custom kitchen design, cabinetry, millwork and incomparable kitchen architecture. Their name – and design philosophy – derives from the world famous design school, Bauhaus. The new nuHaus showroom exemplifies the company’s seamless merging of aesthetics and function, as well as limitless customization possibilities and unequaled execution. We finished the day off at Gino's East for Chicago style pizza.
The second day we visited the Exclusive Woodworkinga 35,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Waukegan Il. We toured their shop and had a few interesting seminars.
